Yesterday was my birthday and it was a great day.  I brought cookies to school to pass out as a treat.  It was a great day. Today I am a day older and I still don’t like math but Mrs. Blystone says I have to keep working at it.  I like reading.  I have been reading a lot of books.  Computer class was fun.  I played quia rags to riches a got a million dollars.  I wish that it was real money.  I also made my own art in the computer lab.  That was fun.

We are back!!  It has been awhile since we have blogged.  We have missed seeing all the comments that our friends and family make.  We had a great Grandparents day on Friday.  We enjoyed all the visitors.  We hope the visitors  enjoyed the songs and the play.  We worked really hard to get ready for them.   I had a lot of fun being a cheerleader.  We also liked having the afternoon off from.  No WORK!  We saw a cool video about  jump roping.   I liked it!  We got to practice jump roping in gym.  I can jump and cross the rope.

We went out for recess today and it was really cold.  I need to wear a hat next time because my ears got cold. We went to chapel and the message was about gentleness.  I am going to work on being nice to my friends.  We practiced our songs for Grandparent’s Day.  I can’t wait until Grandparent’s Day.  In gym today, Mrs.Blystone made us run ALOT.  Then we played Octopus tag and we ran alot for that game.  After gym we were tired, hot and sweaty.  I drank a lot of water.  It was a fun day.

Happy Columbus Day!

Today we started a new unit in gym.  We started working on our jump roping skills.  I really like to jump rope.  We practice turning the big rope and jumping with it.  I am good at jumping with the big rope.  Today i  brought in Hershey kisses for estimation.  There were 177 in the jar.  Logan won!  He guessed 160.  I passed two out to everyone and they were yummy.  Tomorrow is my last day to be student of the week and it’s been fun.

We had chapel this morning.  The message was about Adam and Eve falling into sin.  Today we had a fire drill.  We did pretty good getting out the door and to the playground.  No one got hurt.  We had fun in gym today.  We played dodgeball.  I got hit twice.  I am good at throwing the ball.  I got a lot of people out.  At recess I scored 2 goals playing soccer.  It was fun.  We had a math test and a religion test.   The religion test was easy because we played a game to review .  We slapped our desk if we knew the answer.  My hand hurt after that game.  Mrs. Berg brought us a big bottle of sanitizer.  A lot comes out when you use it. Our class is going to be germ free (well–we hope).

Today we got to type our reports on underwater animals in the computer lab.  After we typed them we found a picture to go with our report.  I did a report on Great White Sharks.  They were interesting to learn about.  In the Media Center today we did some map work about Alaska.  The state capital of Alaska is Juneau.  At lunch I had a yummy chicken sandwich. At recess we had to stay inside because raining.  We went in the gym.  I played tag with my friends.  It was really fun.  We have 3 math sheets for homework and AR reading.  We had lots of fun at school today.

First we did a morning worksheet on making a tabernacle.  A tabernacle  is a “tent church” that the children of Israel used in the Old testament.  Then we went to music.  We had a recorder test over “Hot Cross Buns”  I think everyone got an A.  I got an A+.  I feel good.  Then we had Art today.  We learned positive and negative in black white  colors.  We made handprints that look like oreos.  White black white black.  Today we celebrated Seth’s birthday.  We had chocolate chip cookies for a snack.  They tasted GREAT!

Have a good weekend,
